both are picky eaters. both hate any sliver of greens in their meal.

adam was once into a phase of only roti canai. or only kulit ayam goreng. else, he won't eat a thing.

amir was the same as naim, makan licin. but lately dah start being picky about his food.

current fad for both: nasi putih with ayamas ayam goreng crispy.

if we're having meals outside, we're better off just ordering mushroom soup for them. kalau yg lain2, terpaksa la the two majlis bandaraya tolong sapu.

my solution: apa2 je lah, janji makan. and keep their formulas on standby.

Roti canai is fulfilling me think. Makan pagi sampai petang kenyang.

You mean both majlis bandaraya have to buy ayamas every day? adeh! MSG tuh. hmmm not that i mind. Ada org allergic MSG bley? sedih giler tak bley merasa maggi. Yumms!

Your solution and mine is the same. Plus give vitamins daily. No point entering into battle each time.

Bermacam ragam budak2 nih. Kalau nak layan hari2 mahu naik BP. Ikut aje lah asalkan dia org sihat. Anak2 I paling senang nasi & kuah tak pedas tu je lah. Ikan mmg le susah nak makan. If ayam kena perisi. Telur is the best bet. Sayur...I surrender asalkan dia org makan kat Kindy. Paling tak tahan sarah keep asking...ni boleh makan? Tu boleh makan? Apa ni? Apa tu? Sehari pun tak habis le mcm tu.

we're in the same boat, honey! trust me.

ayisha who used to be fed breastmilk with a syringe now is my best eater and my skinniest child. Aliya cringes at anything new (whoever says a 10-year old eats lots, mine doesn't). Adani abhors anything greenish but stands nbehind Ayisha at healthiness level. Ariz doesn't eat. He eats when we wants and doesn't eat when he doesn't want. We eat dinner while he sucks on ice lollies. We eat chicken, he runs around like one. I dunno. He still is breastfeedingm, tho. 3 days to go.

Syringe? adeh... camna tuh. First time i heard such. Actually I remember I was one of them when i was small. I ate nasi with kicap and telur goreng sahaja. I was keding sampai la sekolah menengah. But look how I turned out. *gulp*. As long as they're healthy la eh.

Tapi Ariz kan montel. Must be the natural food eh.

p/s: The book is sold at RM99.90 at MPH. Kopi bley?

sekarang kena beli about 2 packs of ayamas a week. kalau majlis bandaraya tak tumpang meratah hehe..

the alternate at the moment is telur mata.

oh, and we give them vit C chewies and multi vit with lysine. daily.

did you manage to get najwa to experiment (and like!) masakan yang pedas-pedas? sofea cannot take lauk yang ada sedikit pepper or hint of curry or sambal. aiiyooo. manyak susah.

on the other hand, aidiin ok je... tapi perut dia pulak cannot tahan too much of spicyness.

Agaknya masa Nenek masak dia mengadap kot. Agaknya dia tengok orang lain makan sedap macam sedap je.. teringin la kot nak rasa. Pepper? Hmm.. even Naim pun suka pepper. Kenapa ek?

I myself tak pandai makan pedas until 12 yrs old kot. I remember kalau makan sambal ayam, I bawak ayam pi basuh kat sink dulu baru makan. Hehehe

am sure you've tried everything so i tak ada nak bagi apa2 tips sebab so far Alhamdulillah, my kids are not that picky..

masa dia orang babies, I memang tak bagi nestum, I buat porridge and introduce them bayam, ikan bilis, carrot etc...tapi bila dalam umur 2, 3 tahun susah jugak depa nak makan sayur hijau, tapi i tetap masak..lama-lama bila dia tengok kita makan, they will try it too..now sayur fav mereka ni:

mushrooms
spinach
kangkung
cauliflower
carrot
cabbage
petola (ni faeqah paling suka and she even loves petai!)
broccoli
tofu (ni kira sayur ke?) - may be you try sup tofu - campur celery and carrot or su'un, then bila boiling tu pecahkan telor..mau dak?

or buatkan tempura sayur - broccoli or mushroom or sayur2 lain lah celup tepung lepas tu kalau depa suka sos cicah lah sos.


cuma sekarang I kena entice dia orang makan ikan lebih banyak..depa ni nak makan ikan yang besar2 jer macam bawal and tenggiri, ikan selar tu makan jugak tapi kita kena ambik and letak dalam pinggan..tapi sambal ikan bilis depa makan pulak.

one thing I noticed secara general lah ni, apa yang kita introduce or sekat masa anak kecil, itulah dia yang anak akan makan..ini pengalaman sendiri. Masa dapat Fathini, maklum first baby we were verrrry careful to the stage takut nak suapkan makanan yang kononnya susah nak telah, berminyak and so on..bila dia besar sikit memang dia jadi picky, pedas sikit tak makan, susah nak try new recipes/food...then I encourage her sekarang kari dan sambal tumis tu jadi favourite dia pulak..

kalau kita too careful masa anak2 kecik pun tak boleh jugak..anak2 lain lepas tu I bantai suap segala benda..even durian masa depa baby. Habih cerita sekarang senang jer makan..

But your case ni I tak tahulah apa punca dia since you pun dah try macam2 kan...
